St James' Swifts deadline looming as club hunts for new manager

St James' Swifts are on the hunt for a new manager following the departure of Peter Murray.

Murray stepped down at the end of last season due to personal reasons.

The West Belfast club are now seeking expressions of interest for the post, with the deadline for applications set for June 9.

St James' said in a statement: "St James' Swifts are seeking expressions of interest for the position of first team manager for the 23/24 season in the Ballymena and Provincial Intermediate League.

"The club is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic manager to lead the club's team structures.

"The role will also include working closely with the reserves manager to bring players through at the appropriate juncture in their development.

"This opportunity is ideal for anyone looking to gain experience and development in football at a high level and with the club providing opportunities for support and development.

"The club is asking all potential applicants to email gavin.kelly1@sky.com with a covering email and CV before the deadline of Friday 09th June at 5pm."
