It beat competition against four other outlets from across the region including ones based in Manchester and Warrington.

The awards ceremony took place at The Savoy hotel in London was hosted by comedian and TV presenter Jimmy Carr.

Taking to Instagram to share the news, the team behind Brother's Burgers said: "Congratulations to... us we have just won the north west’s best takeaway award!!!
