St Elizabeth's pupils show their support for a Hamilton care home

Music-mad pupils from St Elizabeth’s Primary drummed up some support for a Hamilton care home recently.

For after weeks of training led by Graeme Barclay, South Lanarkshire music tuition officer, primary five youngsters performed their drumming skills at Abbeydale Court Care Home.

The children gathered outside in the grounds with assembled residents, where Mr Barclay led the children through drumming patterns and rhythms.

A spokesperson for the school said: “Primary five already are frequent visitors to the care home, and have spent time with the residents doing weekly storytelling and chatting.

“This was another lovely visit for the residents and children.”
