St Blane’s Primary in Blantyre are proud to present their new leadership team.
Aaron Waldron and Grace Garland have been named as head boy and head girl for 2020/21
Lewis Hood and Sophie Bella Martin are their deputies, while the house captains are Zara Gallagher, Marcus McBride, Orlagh McInally, and Ryan Staunton.
This year’s election proved to be more challenging than usual but the P7 pupils came up with an innovative way to make sure their speeches were heard, by recording them at home and then broadcasting them into all the classes.
Head teacher Pauline Brown said: “We are delighted to announce the leadership team for this year.
“All of our candidates were of a very high standard and they managed to find different media to present their speeches in these challenging times.
“I am sure this team will represent our pupils and their suggestions will be vital in working together in our school community.”
