St Ann's Hospice has become the target of a cyber-attack - here's the emails you should look out for

St Ann's Hospice has become the victim of a cyber-attack - and has warned people not click on the links in emails it has sent out.

The fake emails have been sent from 'an individual at the hospice' and ask people to submit their email and password.

"If anyone receives this email please do not click on the link," the hospice said in a Tweet.

However, emails sent out about the hospice's lottery and its Light up a Life campaign earlier this week after safe to open.

"We apologise for any inconvenience and we are reviewing our cyber security," the hospice said.

St Ann's Hospice said on Twitter: "Please be aware that we've been the target of a cyber-attack that has emailed a number of our contacts from an individual at the hospice asking them to click a link & submit their email & password.

"If anyone receives this email please do not click on the link.

"We have sent emails about our lottery and Light up a Life campaign this week and these aren't affected by the cyber-attack.

"We apologise for any inconvenience and we are reviewing our cyber security."
