SSE Airtricity statement as all channels to be affected by maintenance

SSE Airtricity has warned its customers of disruption to services on Tuesday evening.

The energy company's customer contact centre will close at 6:30pm tomorrow, January 31, for a number of hours. In a statement issued through social media on Monday, it outlined that online accounts and pre-pay top ups won't be available during this period.

They said: "Service Notice: Our customer contact centre will close tomorrow at 6:30pm (Tuesday 31 January) for essential maintenance on our systems; this will affect all channels.

"Online accounts and pre pay top ups won’t be available between 6:30pm and 11pm. Please consider topping up in advance online.

"We apologise for any inconvenience."
