Srisaket Sor Rungvisai won a rematch against Roman “Chocolatito” Gonzalez on Saturday and this time it was easier than expected.

The Thai champion floored Gonzalez twice in the fourth round to end the bout and keep the WBX Super-flyweight title.

The first time Gonzalez hit the ground, he fought the count to continue the bout. But when he was floored once more, it was all over. Gonzalez, 30, was later taken to a hospital for medical treatment.

"I trained hard for four months for this fight ," the 30-year-old Thai said after the match at the StubHub Center in Carson, California. "This victory is for all Thais, and thanks for all of your support."

Gonzalez waited six months for his chance to avenge the loss against Sisaket in March - a defeat that cost him his previously unbeaten record. Until then, he was regarded as the ranking number one, pound-for-pound, with a 46-0 record. Saturday's loss is now his second.

Sisaket won the first fight in March by a narrow majority decision. Many considered it a fluke victory - but with this thumping win, the Thai has silenced his critics.
