Sri Lanka election: Voting closes in tight presidential race

Gunmen in Sri Lanka attacked buses carrying Muslim voters. It is being seen as an attempt to intimidate voters in a tightly fought presidential election.

Former Defence Minister Gotabaya Rajapaksa and Minister Sajith Premadasa are the two main candidates. National security has been an important issue in the campaign after the Easter bombings that killed hundreds of people in April.
