Sri Lanka's government has said the country is now peaceful enough that it can lift nationwide evening curfews that have been in effect since Monday.
The curfews were imposed after gangs attacked mosques and Muslim businesses.
The government said hardline Buddhist groups are under investigation over the attacks.
