NEW DELHI: Sunrisers Hyderabad were the most active participants of the IPL 2023 mini-auction, bidding for as many as 13 players in Kochi on Friday. SRH spent a whopping Rs 13.25 crore for England's Harry Brook, their biggest buy in the auction.
They splurged Rs 8.25 crore for Mayank Agarwal and Rs 5.25 crore for Heinrich Klaasen.
SRH also went big for uncapped Vivrant Sharma, spending Rs 2.6 crore for the batter from Jammu. Adil Rashid (Rs 2 crore), Mayank Dagar (Rs 1.8 crore) and Akeal Hosein (Rs 1 crore) are other big buys for SRH in the auction.
Despite buying 13 players in the auction, SRH were left with Rs 6.55 crore in their purse.
