Squirming Boris Johnson today claimed it's "complete nonsense" that he gossiped about Donald Trump with world leaders, despite a video showing him gossiping about Donald Trump with world leaders.
The Tory leader suffered a sudden fit of amnesia after he was confronted twice with the hot mic clip of himself with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
Mr Johnson joking about the President's lengthy impromptu press conference.
The grinning UK PM asked Trudeau "is that why you were late?", to which Trudeau replied: “Because he takes a 40-minute press conference at the top."
The video prompted furious response from Trump, who at the Nato summit in Watford.
Asked at Nato about the video, and if he didn't take President Trump seriously, Boris Johnson said: “That’s complete nonsense and I don’t know where that's come from”.

Despite curtly shrugging off the question he was asked again by another journalist at a Nato press conference.
Asked if we wasn't discussing Donald Trump in the clip he said: "I really don’t know what is being referred to there."

The exchange happened last night at a reception in Buckingham Palace, hosted by the Queen, for Nato leaders.
The leaders appeared to be referring to Trump's impromptu press conference a few hours earlier, from what was meant to be a brief statement to camera with Nato's Secretary General.
Mr Trudeau said: "I watched his team's jaws drop to the floor."
When asked today if he’d seen the video of the Canadian President talking about him, Trump said: “Well he’s two faced.

“And honestly with Trudeau he’s a nice guy. I find him to be a very nice guy.
“But you know, the truth is I called him out on the fact that he’s not paying 2% [of GDP to defence], and I guess he’s not very happy about it.
“He’s not paying 2% and he should be paying 2%. It’s Canada, they have money, and they should be paying 2%.

“So I called him out on that and I’m sure he wasn’t happy about it but that’s the way it is.”
Trump later added: "We’ll go directly back [to Washington].
"I think we’ve done plenty of press conferences - unless you’re demanding a press conference, we’ll do one - but I think we’ve answered plenty of questions."
