Squire Patton Boggs announces new managing partner in West Midlands

Law firm Squire Patton Boggs has appointed Charlie Frost as the next managing partner of its West Midlands office.

From January 1, 2021, Mr Frost will take up the post at the Birmingham office succeeding Nick Green.

Mr Frost - who joined the firm as a trainee solicitor over 20 years ago and has been a partner since 2008 - said: "Nick has led the Birmingham office with distinction for 10 years, during which time our business has gone from strength to strength.

"I am excited to serve as the next office managing partner and to take on the challenges that this role will bring. In such turbulent times, clients need our support now more than ever to navigate the impact of covid-19 and Brexit on their businesses and there are real opportunities to build on our considerable achievements under Nick’s leadership and look positively to the future."

Mr Green added: "It has been a great honour to serve as managing partner of the Birmingham office and to see the office grow and prosper, supporting clients on a regional, national and international stage.

"Charlie has played a key role in the success of the office over many years and it is his energy, enthusiasm and leadership skills that make him the natural choice to lead the charge as we move into our next chapter, ably supported by our outstanding team in the city."
