Squid Game's iconic animatronic doll is coming to The Trafford Centre

Netflix is set to delight Squid Game fans by bringing a replica of the show’s iconic animatronic doll to The Trafford Centre this Saturday.

Adult fans, over 16, are invited to experience the fully functioning 3-metre tall doll, complete with moving light-up eyes and singing capabilities.

Fans will be offered the chance to capture photos and videos of the doll in action, and an opportunity to interact with Squid Game costumed guards.

Complementary circular cookies, carved with different shapes from the series, will also be available.

The doll Kicked off at London’s Westfield Shopping Centre in Shepherd’s Bush on Halloween and is now due to appear at Manchester’s Trafford Centre and Birmingham’s Grand Central Station on Saturday, November 6.

Netflix Series Squid Game has taken the nation by storm with its controversial plot.

A mysterious invitation to join the game is sent to people at risk who are in dire need of money.

A total of 456 participants from all walks of life are locked into a secret location where they play games in order to win 45.6 billion.

Every game is a Korean traditional children's game such as Red Light, Green Light, but the consequence of losing is death.

Last month, Squid Game became Netflix's "biggest TV show ever," with 142 million households globally having watched the series in its first four weeks.

The hit series follows gambling addict Seong Gi-hun as he joins the 455 other debt-ridden players to participate in Squid Game - with the hopes of winning a 45.6 billion Won ( £28.2 million) cash prize.
