The next two games could be crucial to Steve Kean and Blackburn's chances of survival. Beat West Bromwich Albion and Bolton at home and Kean can relax with his Christmas dinner, safe in the knowledge that his side are moving in the right direction. Lose, however, and he will have a tough time holding on to his job. Roy Hodgson is under no such pressure at The Hawthorns but his side have lost their way of late and only three points separate them from the relegation zone. The high stakes involved will make this a cagey affair. Ian McCourt
