Spurs team vs Sheffield United confirmed: Lo Celso starts as Pochettino makes just two changes

Mauricio Pochettino has made just two changes to his Tottenham Hotspur team to face Sheffield United in the Premier League.

Spurs got back to winning ways in a 4-0 victory at Red Star Belgrade in the Champions League on Wednesday night, but the manager once again rotated his team after midweek matches.

He hinted that changes might have to be made because of 'small injuries' to certain players who took part in the game in Serbia but that hasn't been the case other than just the two.

Giovani Lo Celso retains his place after dazzling on his full debut, despite Pochettino being wary of playing the 23-year-old Argentine twice with just two days in between after making his first start in four months.

Christian Eriksen, who also scored on Wednesday night but is still struggling for form, remains on the bench.

Erik Lamela, Jan Vertonghen and Hugo Lloris remain out injured. There are changes in the defence.

Serge Aurier and Ben Davies come into the back line either side of Eric Dier and Davinson Sanchez.

Ryan Sessegnon made his Champions League debut on Wednesday, laying on the goal for Eriksen, and is on the bench again.

Here is the team Pochettino has chosen: Gazzaniga, Aurier, Dier, Sanchez, Davies, Sissoko, Ndombele, Lo Celso, Dele, Son, Kane (C). Subs: Vorm, Alderweireld, Foyth, Winks, Sessegnon, Eriksen, Lucas.
