Spurs team vs Crystal Palace confirmed: Davies & Son start in new stadium opener, Lucas on bench

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has named his first ever starting XI at the club's new stadium.

Spurs take on Crystal Palace at their new 62,062-seater home and the manager has plenty of decisions to make about his starting line-up.

Eric Dier, Erik Lamela, Fernando Llorente and Serge Aurier are all out injured while Harry Winks returns to the bench.

Ben Davies has come into the side as has Son Heung-min, meaning Davinson Sanchez and goalscorer Lucas Moura drop out.

It is unclear at this moment whether Spurs are going with a back three with Davies on the left or with Danny Rose playing on the side of a midfield three.

Here is the confirmed Spurs team: Lloris, Trippier, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Davies, Rose, Sissoko, Eriksen, Dele, Son, Kane. Subs: Gazzaniga, Sanchez, Foyth, Walker-Peters, Wanyama, Winks, Lucas.
