Spurs team confirmed vs Real Madrid: Danny Rose starts as Hugo Lloris named on the bench

Mauricio Pochettino has named his Tottenham starting XI to face Real Madrid in the first game of the Audi Cup in Munich.

Having only returned from the Asia tour a few days ago following games against Juventus and Manchester United, Spurs play twice at the Allianz Arena in the space of two days as they step up their preparations for the new season.

With Los Blancos today's opponents in Germany, Spurs will then face either Bayern Munich or Fenerbahce depending on how results go in both games.

Pochettino has named a 26-man squad for the mini tournament and he does have Hugo Lloris available again after flying home early from the Far East due to tonsillitis.

Danny Rose and Georges-Kevin Nkoudou are also included in the squad after missing the games in Shanghai and Singapore to allow them time to explore opportunities with other clubs prior to the transfer deadline.

However, Ben Davies, Eric Dier, Serge Aurier and Victor Wanyama are not part of the squad and remain in the capital due to injury.

Well, Pochettino has once again elected to shuffle his pack for today's game against the Spanish side having done so in the previous two games in pre-season.

Here's how Tottenham line up:

Spurs teams to face Real Madrid: Gazzaniga; Foyth, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Rose; Winks, Ndombele; Lamela, Eriksen, Son; Kane.
