Spurs team confirmed vs Brighton: Eric Dier, Erik Lamela, Christian Eriksen and Ben Davies start

Mauricio Pochettino has given his starting XI a reshuffle as Tottenham Hotspur travel to Brighton in the Premier League's early kick-off.

The Tottenham boss told football.london that Moussa Sissoko would start at right-back in place of the suspended Serge Aurier and he has been true to his word.

Pochettino has chosen to bring Ben Davies back into the team to give Danny Rose a rest at left-back as Spurs look to get back to winning ways after their humiliation at the hands of Bayern Munich in midweek.

The Tottenham manager had to decide how many of his players would get the chance to redeem themselves or give others with fresh legs a chance to show what they can do against a Brighton team with just one win so far this season in the Premier League.

He has gone mostly for the latter with four changes and Eric Dier comes in to the midfield after missing out on another England squad as he waits for game time.

Christian Eriksen and Erik Lamela also come into the team after being among the substitutes on Tuesday night but Lucas Moura is once again on the bench, along with Dele Alli.
