Spurs team confirmed vs Bayern: Lo Celso, Walker-Peters, Foyth, Sessegnon and Eriksen start

Jose Mourinho has made a whole host of changes to his Tottenham Hotspur side to face Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

While Mourinho will not want his players haunted by a revisit of their 7-2 humbling in Tottenham, he also has a tough Premier League match on Sunday to think about after this game, which ultimately will not affect the group standings.

With that in mind the Spurs head coach decided to leave Harry Kane, Dele Alli, Jan Vertonghen and Serge Aurier at home.

He also has Ben Davies (ankle), Erik Lamela (hamstring), Hugo Lloris (elbow), Tanguy Ndombele (groin), Michel Vorm (calf) and Harry Winks (ankle) all out injured meaning 10 players miss the match in Germany.

Tottenham train ahead of Bayern Munich

Summer signings Giovani Lo Celso and Ryan Sessegnon come into the team with Danny Rose.

The Tottenham boss also has young players in Juan Foyth, Troy Parrott, Oliver Skipp, Japhet Tanganga and Kyle Walker-Peters who are pushing for minutes and of them, Foyth and Walker-Peters start with the others on the bench.

Christian Eriksen starts his first match if the Mourinho era.

Here is how Tottenham line up against Bayern at the Allianz Arena:

Gazzaniga, Walker-Peters, Alderweireld, Foyth, Rose; Dier, Sissoko; Lo Celso, Eriksen, Sessegnon; Lucas. Subs: Austin, Sanchez, Tanganga, Skipp, Wanyama, Son, Parrott.
