Tottenham's visit to Chelsea will see Ryan Sessegnon reunited with friends Tammy Abraham and Masoun Mount - and the Spurs star admits that he feels slightly envious of their advancement this season.
Sessegnon completed a £25million move from Fulham in the summer, but injuries meant a delayed start to his Spurs career.
And with Mauricio Pochettino's departure, Sessegnon has struggled to make consistent appearances, making just six Premier League appearances so far this season - five of which have come under Jose Mourinho's reign.
Sessegnon was initially named on the bench for the clash at Stamford Bridge, but has been withdrawn ahead of kick off due to an injury, with Oliver Skipp replacing him.
With Abraham and Mount making an impact under Frank Lampard this season, Sessegnon has admitted that there is a feeling of "it could have been me" about their time in the first team.
But the youngster says he will remain focused and stay calm as he tries to work his way into the Spurs side.
"It's been good for Tammy and Mason," Sessegnon told the Mirror. "They are doing very well and I’m happy for them.
"It's neck and neck between us and Chelsea to get that fourth place at the moment. So we'll be looking to go there and win the game, obviously, and hoping they drop more points.
"When you look at what Mason and Tammy have have done so far this year, and what Mason did at Derby and Vitesse before that, you see that they are fantastic young players.
"At the Euros I played alongside him, Phil Foden, James Maddison and Dom Calvert-Lewin.
"You could say there’s a little bit of ‘it could have been me’ when I see the way that they’ve kicked on this season. But everything happens for a reason.
"So I'm going to stay calm and positive. I'm not going to try not to put too much pressure on myself as I've done before."
