Hugo Lloris
Only real save he had to make was Kubo's shot five minutes before the final whistle. Real Madrid had more of the ball after the break but they just couldn't test the World Cup winner. 5
Kyle Walker-Peters
Was kept busy in the second half as most of Real's attacks came down his flank. Couldn't really offer much going forward given he was defending for the majority of it. 5
Japhet Tanganga
Made an immediate impact following his introduction with a crucial block to stop Eden Hazard's low effort finding the net. Looks very comfortable at the back despite his tender years. 7
Davinson Sanchez
Some good interceptions in defence as Real Madrid looked for a way back into the game. 6
Anthony Georgiou
Booked following a rash tackle on Lucas Vazquez minutes after his introduction. As was the case with Walker-Peters, couldn't offer anything for the team going forward. 5
Moussa Sissoko
Had a few efforts on goal but nothing to really test Keylor Navas. Strong showing in the middle of the park as always. 6

Oliver Skipp
Excellent block to deny Karim Benzema straight after the break and then snuffed out danger on the edge of the box to deny Vazquez. 6
Lucas Moura
Direct running from the attacker following his introduction as he looked to cause fellow countryman Marcelo some problems. Picked out Dele Alli with a stunning ball over the top midway through the half. 7
Dele Alli
Thought he had doubled the lead with his volley looking destined for the corner before Navas pulled off a sublime save. Some really good movement from the England international and one of Spurs' best players after the break. 7
Son Heung-Min
So unlucky not to make it 2-0 as Navas produced a sublime save to stop the ball finding the top corner. Replaced on 65 minutes by Georges-Kevin Nkoudou. 6
Harry Kane
Caused a few more problems for the Madrid defence but no real chances of note after the break. Subbed for Troy Parrott with 25 minutes remaining. 5
Substitutes
Georges-Kevin Nkoudou (Son, Heung-min, 65)
Created an opening for Parrott in the closing stages but didn't really offer anything of note that will change Mauricio Pochettino's mind ahead of the transfer deadline. 4
Troy Parrott (Harry Kane, 65)
Some good running from the youngster and was so unlucky as his effort cannoned off the post with time running out. 5
