Spurs rookie Keldon Johnson rocks Nike LeBron 15 King’s Cloak kicks in summer league

University of Kentucky product Keldon Johnson was selected by the San Antonio Spurs with the 29th pick of the 2019 NBA Draft. Johnson averaged 13.5 points and 5.9 rebounds per game while shooting 46% from the field for the Wildcats last season before being selected by Gregg Popovich and the Spurs. On Tuesday in Utah, he took the court for NBA Summer League action paying homage to LeBron James by rocking the Kith x Nike LeBron 15 Performance King’s Cloak sneakers and balled out.

This Nike LeBron 15 edition was designed by Ronnie Fieg as a part of his “Long Live The King: Chapter 2” collection from his Kith imprint. The rare LeBron shoe comes in white with multi-color embroidery throughout along with a gold zipper running down the middle of the sneaker. They also include a white Zoom Air and Max Air cushioned midsole and were originally released by Nike on February 16th, 2018.

After only scoring four points during his summer league debut on Monday, Johnson exploded for a team-high 29 points on Tuesday along with collecting seven rebounds in 25 minutes while hooping in his LeBron 15’s. The San Antonio squad earned a victory over the Ja Morant-less Memphis Grizzlies and Johnson hit a half-court shot as a the first half expired.
