Spurs reveal squad for Ajax clash but social media video leaves question marks over seven stars

The Spurs team are now on their way to Amsterdam for Wednesday night's Champions League semi-final second leg clash against Ajax.

Mauricio Pochettino's side currently trail 1-0 from the first leg following Donny van de Beek's early goal at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last Tuesday.

The Dutch giants did have the chances to add to their lead in the encounter but the closest they came to doubling the score was when David Neres struck the post in the second half.

Spurs were certainly second best in the first half as Ajax dominated, although they improved significantly following Moussa Sissoko's introduction in place of the injured Jan Vertonghen after 40 minutes.

It will certainly be tough for the team out in Amsterdam but they will be quietly confident of progressing having done so against the odds in the previous round against Man City.

The good news for Spurs is that Erik Lamela and Vertonghen could potentially return from injury for the vital clash after both were spotted boarding the plane to Amsterdam.

The team do have a number of injury worries at present and there appeared to be no sign of Harry Kane and Davinson Sanchez in the short clip posted on the club's Twitter account.

Lucas Moura, Dele Alli, Christian Eriksen, Danny Rose and Kieran Trippier were also absent from the video, although the players are expected to feature in the game with no reported injury issues at present.
