Spurs provide Tanguy Ndombele update as four ruled out of Olympiacos Champions League clash

Spurs have confirmed that Tanguy Ndombele is back in full training ahead of Tuesday's Champions League clash against Olympiacos.

The summer signing limped off with a groin injury in the 1-1 draw against Sheffield United prior to the international break, thus seeing him miss Jose Mourinho's first game in charge on Saturday as the team won 3-2 away at West Ham.

Ndombele did train with his Spurs teammates at Hotspur Way on Monday and the new head coach must decide if he returns to the side as they look to clinch their passage through to the next stage of the competition.

Jan Vertonghen was also back on the training pitch having not featured since the 5-0 win over Red Star Belgrade last month due to a hamstring injury.

While it is good news regarding the duo, Hugo Lloris, Michel Vorm, Erik Lamela and Ben Davies all missed out on training.

The club captain remains out until next year with the dislocated elbow he suffered against Brighton & Hove Albion last month, with Vorm also on the sidelines with a calf injury sustained last week in training.

Lamela continues his rehabilitation from his hamstring injury and remains unavailable, with Davies also out due to the ankle problem that forced him off at the London Stadium on Saturday.

Spurs will clinch their place in the knockout phase of the Champions League if they beat the Greek side on Tuesday evening in N17.
