Looking set to exit the competition at the hands of Ajax after goals from Matthijs de Ligt and Hajim Ziyech had given them a 3-0 lead on aggregate, Mauricio Pochettino's team produced a stunning comeback to set up a final against Liverpool.
Lucas Moura reduced the deficit 10 minutes after the break with a low finish, before making it 2-2 with a smart turn in the box after Fernando Llorente had seen his close-range effort saved by Andre Onana.
The winner then came in the fifth minute of stoppage time as the Brazilian completed his hat-trick with a low strike from the edge of the box finding the far corner to spark jubilant scenes in the away end and in north London.
It was total bedlam when the ball found the back of the net with the substitutes, Mauricio Pochettino and his coaching staff running onto the pitch to celebrate.
The celebrations were even better come the final whistle as the team partied in front of the away supporters after the most dramatic of football matches.
