It is match day for Tottenham as the Premier League returns after the international break.
Spurs host Watford at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this afternoon (Saturday) as Mauricio Pochettino's men look to bounce back to winning ways, having lost out 7-2 against Bayern Munich and 3-0 against Brighton & Hove Albion prior to the international break.
Many Tottenham players have been away with their national teams over the past fortnight, but they have been back this week ahead of the clash with the Premier League's bottom side.
And ahead of the game, we take a look at the latest Spurs news, below.
The truth about Pochettino's January comments
Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino surprised plenty of people with his comments on the January transfer window this week.
Having acknowledged last month that January could be a time to fix problems in his squad, when Pochettino was asked at his pre-match press conference if he expected movement in the winter window his answer surprised even the reporter asking the question.
He said: "No, I don’t believe so.....Really. I believe in the players we have. I believe in the players that are in Tottenham today.
"I respect the opinion of people who say we need to change or do something, in or out, but if it is my decision I am going to to stick with players because I know have the quality."
Those comments led to some bewilderment among Spurs fans, with some key players out of contract next summer and Tottenham in need of strengthening in certain areas.
However, Alasdair Gold has explained the reasoning behind what Pochettino said, with the Spurs boss previously admitting that he is not keen on the January transfer window.
"I never was keen on January and I will not change now because it is a tough period or tough few games," he said.
"Now I’m going to change my way to think or see things? For me the most important thing is to try and stay together. Of course after the windows some circumstances you can manage, a situation can arise in December or January and you need to take some decisions but we are not going to force anything because we believe the squad is a decent squad, now we need to be strong."
But Pochettino knows that there could well be some movement in the upcoming window, with speculation over the futures of Christian Eriksen, Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen, among others.
Here, our Spurs correspondent explores in more detail what may lie ahead in January.
Serge Aurier's advantage
Right-back has been something of a problem position for Mauricio Pochettino and Spurs this season.
Since Kieran Trippier left to join Atletico Madrid in the summer, no-one has cemented their place at full-back, with Kyle Walker-Peters playing the first three games before getting injured, while Serge Aurier has been erratic at times, including being sent off against Southampton.
Moussa Sissoko played at right-back in his absence for the defeat at Brighton, but Pochettino now has more options, with Juan Foyth returning from injury as he featured for Argentina over the international break.
As such, Pochettino has a decision to make when it comes to choosing his right-back for the game against Watford.
But Foyth played twice over the international break for Argentina, against Germany and Ecuador, with the additional factor of the travel to consider for Pochettino.
And that could potentially count against him as Pochettino will look to manage him and ease him back into action for Spurs
.

He may feel that a third game in quick succession is too much for the ex-Estudiantes man, thus giving Aurier the advantage, having only played once for Ivory Coast over the international break.
However, Pochettino has hinted that Foyth will be involved in the coming weeks.
"For sure, working hard, he’s going to have his opportunities to play," he said.
"I’m sure all the squad is going to be involved with six games in 22 days, we need all the squad.
"I am happy because he performed well with Argentina and that always helps to build his confidence."
Liverpool injury boost
Spurs may be in action this afternoon, but it is the start of a big week for the Lilywhites.
Tottenham will face Red Star Belgrade in the Champions League in midweek, before a trip to face the Premier League leaders Liverpool at Anfield.
And the Reds have received a triple injury boost ahead of an important week for them, which starts with a game against Manchester United tomorrow (Sunday).
Klopp's side have had a number of injury worries in recent weeks, but there is some positive news for them, with a trio of players close to returning.
They are goalkeeper Alisson, who has been out since the first game of the season, Joel Matip and Mohamed Salah, who are also said to be "looking better" ahead of the clash with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side this week.
Should they be unable to make the match against Man United, a further week of training should see them back in time to face Mauricio Pochettino's Spurs side next weekend.
Klopp told reporters: "Ali, Joel and Mo are looking better. How good? We will have to see.
"[There are] two more sessions to come, then we have to make decisions. Nothing [is] fixed yet."
