Spurs news: Pochettino's future up in the air, Lamela injury update, £50m move for Man United flop

Where do Tottenham go from here?

The poor form shows no signs of changing, with Spurs drawing their third match in the last four with a 1-1 against Sheffield United at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday.

Manager Mauricio Pochettino is feeling the pressure and goes into the international break with more issues to deal with.

There does look to be some good news on the horizon with an injury update on Erik Lamela, who has been missed of late.

All that and more is in our round-up of the biggest stories from the past 24 hours at Tottenham.

Pochettino concerned

Mauricio Pochettino is a concerned man, and rightly so.

Tottenham stuttered to another draw on Saturday afternoon, 1-1 against this season's surprise package Sheffield United at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

It was another poor performance and leaves Spurs in 12th place in the table.

And there were some telling words from the Spurs boss in the aftermath of the game that showed he was very concerned about his future at the club.

Read what he said here.

Aurier sums up problems

The problems are clear for Tottenham fans to see.

And one of those problems, from the supporters' point of view, is Serge Aurier.

He was not alone in wanting to leave the club in the summer and he was not alone in staying put.

And there was one moment against Sheffield United that really sums up the issues Mauricio Pochettino is having to deal with.

Read all about that here.

Erik Lamela injury update

Erik Lamela has been sorely missed in the last few weeks.

In a season of disappointments so far, Lamela's displays have been one of the shining lights in the dire season for Spurs.

The Argentinian has missed the last four games in all competitions with a hamstring injury.

But he is on the road to recovery.

He posted a photo of himself and his son Tobias at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday on his Instagram page with the caption: "Working hard to be back soon. Feeling better everyday."

£50m for Depay

Reports from our friends at the Mirror suggest that Tottenham are keen on former Manchester United man Memphis Depay.

The Dutch forward flopped at Old Trafford, scoring just two Premier League goals in a season-and-a-half.

But since a £15million move to Lyon, he has notched an impressive 41 goals in 99 Ligue Un appearances.

And the Mirror say Spurs have sent scouts to watch Depay in action ahead of a potential £50million move.

Sheffield United action

It was another disappointing day at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday.

And but for VAR Spurs may have even lost to Sheffield United.

You can relive the game here.

And Alasdair Gold's player ratings are right here.

Every word Pochettino said after the draw is here too.
