Spurs news: Pochettino addresses quit talk, Champions League prize money, update on injured trio

The North London Derby is just one day away.

It's the game that all Tottenham fans look for first when the fixtures list is announced.

The first of the pair of games this season takes place at the Emirates on Sunday afternoon.

Mauricio Pochettino has a number of issues to sort out prior to the game. But he was in jovial mood as he spoke to the media in his pre-match press conference on Friday.

And that was even with questions about his future coming first up, after rumours of a departure after the North London Derby.

Here we round up the biggest news stories from around Spurs in the last 24 hours.

Quit talk

There was lots of talk on Thursday night that Pochettino was going to leave Spurs.

That talk all came after a flurry of best on the Argentinian to be the next manager to lose his job in the Premier League.

It was a rumour that had plenty of Tottenham fans concerned.

But the boss moved to address all that talk during his press conference.

Champions League money

There are plenty of benefits to being in the Champions League.

The prize money on offer is high among those benefits.

And with a new stadium to pay for it will mean a huge amount to Tottenham.

The draw was made for the groups stages on Thursday, with Spurs drawn against Bayern Munich, Olympiakos and Red Star Belgrade.

So how much can they earn from Europe's elite competition?
