Spurs news: Mourinho's perfect player, Man United changes, transfer setback

It is another busy week for Jose Mourinho and Tottenham Hotspur.

Although the new boss could make a host of changes this week for the final Champiolns League group game against Bayern Munich.

The match does not matter, with both sides already through to the knockout stages and given Mourinho has not had much time with his players on the training pitch because of the weight of games, he may make wholesale changes to give some fringe players a chance.

Spurs go into the game in confident mood after a five-star showing against Burnley at the weekend.

All the fallout from that and everything that's been going on around Spurs in the last 24 hours is below.

The changes Mourinho made

Jose Mourinho has been in charge of Tottenham for three weeks now and things have gone pretty well so far.

A blip against his former club Manchester United proved to be just that as Spurs ran out 5-0 winners against Burnley on Saturday.

So what did Mourinho implement to ensure the club bounced back from defeat to the Red Devils to thrash the Clarets?

Captain Harry Kane explained all after the match.

Read what he said here.

Mourinho's perfect player

There were a number of standout performances from Spurs players against Burnley on Saturday.

Spurs were sensational from start to finish and the 5-0 margin of victory could have been even greater.

Son Heung-min made all the headlines with his contender for goal of the season, running almost the entire length of the field before scoring.

But there was someone else that Arsenal legend Martin Keown heaped praise on.

Here's who he feels is the "perfect" player for Mourinho.

Transfer setback

Tottenham might have to change their January transfer plans.

The right-back position has been a cause for concern for much of this season, since Kieran Trippier left the club for Atletico Madrid in the summer.

But any plans they might have held for Youcef Atal, who has been linked with a move to north London in the past, have gone up in smoke.
