Ndombele's plans

The Bale question
Mauricio Pochettino was asked whether or not Tottenham were making a move for Gareth Bale on Sunday.
And what he said was more than a little interesting.
"I saw in the media [Zidane's insistence that Bale was on the way out of Madrid] but I do not know which club is working to try to sign him," he said ambiguously.
"At the moment I do not have any information from my chairman. I don’t know if it is us or another club. It is not my job. It is the job of my chairman who is trying to build the best possible squad."
It was not a straight answer, which posed more questions than answers in all honesty.
Alasdair Gold took a look at the Bale dilemma.
Alderweireld latest
Toby Alderweireld is expecting to be at Tottenham this season.
He has already said that earlier in the summer, but reiterated his stance following the win over Juventus.

Alderweireld was handed the captain's armband by Mauricio Pochettino for that match, and the fans felt that was a hint that he was going to be staying put.
