Spurs news: Harry Kane on penalty appeals, Pochettino's to-do list and international roundup

There is not long to go until Premier League football returns following the first international break of the season.

Preparations for Mauricio Pochettino and his staff will be well underway for the visit of Crystal Palace on Saturday.

As players play their final international match and begin to return to N17,  here are the latest Spurs news doing the rounds over the last 24 hours.

Kane on penalty appeals

Tottenham and England striker has been on the end of some criticism in recent weeks, with some claiming that he goes down too easily in search of penalties.

The Spurs man has a formidable record in scoring from the spot, but has seen two recent appeals for a spot kick turned down by Premier League referees.

Appeals after the 26-year-old went down under challenges from defenders in the games against Newcastle and Arsenal were waved away, with some claiming that Kane has resorted to diving to try and win a penalty. Claims that he adamantly refutes.
