Spurs news: Foyth injury update, Pochettino's dilemma, Lo Celso deal 'agreed', Fernandes latest

Tottenham Hotspur have enjoyed a very impressive pre-season.

Mauricio Pochettino's side beat Juventus in Asia, then won the Audi Cup by first overcoming Real Madrid and then beating Bayern Munich on penalties after letting a two-goal lead slip.

The next six days is set to be dominated by more pre-season friendlies as well as more transfer dealings and ahead of what could be a busy week, here's the news emerging from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Foyth injury news

Juan Foyth left the pitch against Bayern on a stretcher having injured his ankle.

However, Pochettino couldn't provide an update on his fellow countryman when quizzed by football.london in his post-match press conference.

"No because I need to talk with the doctor now," he said.

"He twisted his ankle but at the moment I cannot update.

"I saw when he was leaving the pitch and he said to me it was his ankle and it was very painful.

"I don't know but for sure we will get an update in the next few hours or few days."
