Spurs manager Jose Mourinho sends message to Unai Emery after Arsenal sacking

Spurs manager Jose Mourinho sent a message to Unai Emery after the Spanish manager was sacked by Arsenal.

Emery had been in charge at the Emirates Stadium since taking over from Arsene Wenger in the summer of 2018, but a dreadful run of form ended his stay in north London.

Mourinho, meanwhile, arrived at north London rivals last week following Mauricio Pochettino's shock exit from the club, and has overseen two wins in his first two games.

And the former Chelsea and Manchester United boss sent Emery a message during his press conference ahead of the Premier League clash against Bournemouth.

"No dramas, mi amigo," Mourinho told reporters. "Keep going and you will get another club."

Mourinho also insisted that he would not leave Spurs for any club in the world at this moment, after rumours circulated that Arsenal had been in contact with him about taking over from Emery prior to his appointment at Spurs.

The 56-year-old had been one of the favourites to become the next Arsenal manager, but was coy when asked whether they had approached him about a move.

"No point in telling you," he insisted.

"I'm so happy here I cannot think of the possibility of another club. If you put any other club in the world in front of me now I'd say no."
