How Spurs should line-up vs Red Star Belgrade: Giovani Lo Celso and Harry Kane to start

It is a big match for Tottenham tonight.

Although every match at the moment seems to be a big one, given the poor start to the season the team have stuttered to.

Spurs sit second in Group B with four points from their first three games of the campaign.

It is the second of the double header with Red Star Belgrade on Wednesday night, having seen off the Serbian outfit with a 5-0 pummelling two weeks ago.

It will be a very different night in Serbia though, with Spurs expecting a hostile atmosphere from their hosts.

Tottenham revealed their squad with a video of the players boarding the plane on Tuesday afternoon, with manager Mauricio Pochettino set to make a number of key decisions.

Those will centre around Harry Kane, who missed Sunday's draw with Everton with a virus, and Son Heung-min, who was visibly distraught after making the tackle that ended with Andre Gomes fracturing his ankle.

We asked out Spurs writers and Spurs fans to give us the team they would play if they were in Pochettino's shoes.

I wouldn't play Son after what happened on Sunday. If he's ok then he comes in and Sissoko is rested, with Ndombele dropping back to play alongside Winks in the two in front of the defence.

Kane plays if he is fit and Juan Foyth should come in at right-back.

Now is the time to play Giovani Lo Celso from the start too.

Gold's team: Gazzaniga; Foyth, Alderweireld, Sanchez, Davies; Winks, Sissoko; Alli, Ndombele, Lo Celso, Kane.

Tottenham are really going to have to put in a good performance on Wednesday evening if they want to leave Belgrade with all three points.

Harry Kane missed out at Everton on Sunday through a virus and everyone will have their fingers crossed that he is fit enough to lead the team out.

The England captain obviously plays if fit but it may be the right time to leave out Son Heung-min if he's not emotionally ready to start following his tackle on Andre Gomes at the weekend.

Christian Eriksen should be dropped down to the bench in place of Giovani Lo Celso as he was awful in the draw against Everton, while Harry Winks should come back in to give Moussa Sissoko a breather.

Juan Foyth deserves a start and he should be given his opportunity in place of Serge Aurier at right-back.

Guest's team: Gazzaniga; Foyth, Alderweireld, Sanchez, Davies; Winks, Ndombele; Lucas, Alli, Lo Celso; Kane.

Lee Wilmot - Live editor and Tottenham fan

If Harry Kane has recovered from his virus he has to play.

The next question is over Son Heung-min's state of mind. He was truly upset on the pitch on Sunday, but should have had time to recover his mental state and I would pick him to play too.

At the back I'd go with Juan Foyth at right-back and Danny Rose at left-back - bringing the Englishman back in, despite his poor form previously, as an attacking outlet down the left.

It's not the game for Ryan Sessegnon to make his full debut.

In midfield there was no Harry Winks in the video of Spurs boarding the plane for Belgrade, although he could still play, but I think I'd go with the pair of Ndombele and Sissoko, with Son, Alli and, for me, Lo Celso ahead of them.

Wilmot's team: Gazzaniga; Foyth, Sanchez, Alderweireld, Rose; Sissoko, Ndombele; Lo Celso, Alli, Son; Kane.
