Spurs fans split on who to blame amid 'crisis talks' between Daniel Levy and Mauricio Pochettino

What does the future hold for Daniel Levy, Mauricio Pochettino and Tottenham Hotspur?

Just five months after playing in their first ever Champions League final, Spurs are in trouble.

Fourteenth place in the Premier League following the worst start to a campaign under Pochettino and all the good work that has been done at the club over the last few years is beginning to unravel.

Under Pochettino, Tottenham have established themselves as Champions League regulars and serious challengers for the Premier League title.

But things have got stale. Numerous players are looking to leave the club, with Pochettino calling for a squad refresh over the summer that he did not quite get.

Four players came in - Giovani Lo Celso, Tanguy Ndombele, Ryan Sessegnon and Jack Clarke (who went back on loan to Leeds) - but only one first team regular left - Kieran Trippier - and the feeling was that a bigger clearout was required.

On the pitch there looks to be a real lack of cohesion, with many pundits pointing to the distinct lack of high pressing that has previously become synonymous with a Pochettino side.

Tottenham have won just one quarter of their games so far and reports emerged on Monday night that chairman Daniel Levy and Pochettino had held "crisis talks" over what's going on at the club.

Reports suggested that it was a matter of when Pochettino would leave, rather than if, although it was all conjecture.

But what is for sure is it's caused quite a stir in the fan base.

Social media is awash with opinions, although there seems to be a split over who is to blame for the current predicament. Is it Levy, or is it Pochettino?

And what happens next?

Tottenham travel to rivals West Ham, also under pressure, for a big game on Saturday lunchtime. It remains to be seen what will happen should Spurs lose another game.
