Spurs fans all noticed a team news hint ahead of the Carabao Cup tie against Colchester United

Spurs take on Colchester United in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday evening, with Mauricio Pochettino set to make some changes.

Hugo Lloris missed the Premier League clash against Leicester at the weekend due to the birth of his child, and Paulo Gazzaniga will likely start again in his place.

Meanwhile, Eric Dier could be back in the team following a lengthy injury layoff, while Dele Alli could play a part in the squad after being left at home for the trip to the King Power Stadium on Saturday.

Oliver Skipp is one of Spurs' youngsters likely to make a start against the League Two opposition, but there could be another academy product in the team for the first time on Tuesday.

Troy Parrott thoroughly impressed Spurs staff over the summer, but has yet to be named among the substitutes for the first team, let alone make his debut for the senior side.

However, Spurs fans have noticed that the youngster and his academy teammate Japhet Tanganga were not named in the line up for the Under-23s match against Blackburn Rovers on Monday night - a possible hint that the 17-year-old striker and 20-year-old defender will be involved against Colchester on Tuesday night.
