Reports in Italy over the past few days have claimed that Spurs are one of a number of clubs keen on Roma ace Nicolo Zaniolo.
It has been suggested that the Lilywhites have €50million or so ready to spend on the highly-rated talent and he apparently has a five-year deal waiting for him on the table in north London
As well as interest from Spurs, Bayern Munich, Juventus and Real Madrid are also said to be keen on the Italian international.
Having admitted earlier this year that he wants to stay with the Giallorossi for a long time and follow in the footsteps of the legendary Francesco Totti, Zaniolo has provided a new update on his long-term future and it's not exactly good news for Spurs and other clubs interested in securing his services.
"I still have four years left on contract, I see my future here," he told Italian publication Corriere dello Sport (via Football Italia ).
"Flattery from other clubs is naturally pleasing, but I’m ready to sign a renewal because I’m happy here. I’d be happy to stay.
"I’m completely focused on these last two games, I’m not thinking about anything else. We must try to win them both, then we’ll take stock."
Amid talk of a big-money move for the 19-year-old after an impressive season in Rome, reports from Germany have claimed Spurs are also interested in Bayer Leverkusen's Julian Brandt and have even spoken with the player's father regarding a potential move.
