Spurs' Champions League group finish predicted against Bayern Munich, Olympiacos and Red Star

Mauricio Pochettino has a chance of taking Tottenham Hotspur through to the knockout stages and another chance at Champions League glory this season after drawing Bayern Munich, Olympiacos and Crvena zvezda in Group B.

Last season, Spurs reached the final of the competition only to taste defeat to Liverpool in Madrid.

Following a summer that saw the club break their transfer record, the Argentinian is seeking to build on that achievement, and has spoken about his determination to win a trophy for Tottenham.

Champions League 2019/20 group stage draw

Spurs have been backed at 22/1 to go all the way this season by The Pools , ahead of all but one of their group stages, and there can be no prizes for guessing who is set to be their most troublesome opponent.

Bayern Munich are one the true heavyweights of European football and are priced up at 12/1 to lift the Champions League for a sixth time in their history.

Interstingly, the bookies can't pick the two other teams in Group B apart.

Crvena zvezda, also known as Red Star Belgrade, and Olympiacos are both 500/1 outsiders to lift the Champions League this season.

However, both clubs boast their own proud histories in European football.

In 1991, the Serbians lifted the Champions League themselves and beat Liverpool 2-0 at home in the group stage last season.
