Springsteen reconsidered

A couple of months ago I wrote an exceedingly unkind commentary about Bruce Springsteen's then-forthcoming album, Magic, on the basis of a mediocre single, Radio Nowhere, and his recent track record as a songwriter, which I think has been pretty dreadful.

Well, I was wrong. Radio Nowhere is still lousy, but the rest of Magic may be his best album in 20 years. My thoughts are online here.
