Pupils at Springholm Primary celebrated World Book Day on Thursday.
Youngsters were able to dress as their favourite book character and also had the chance to write their own mini book.
Other activities included paired reading, charades and designing bookmarks and book characters.
And they also had the chance to listen to a story while enjoying hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows.
