Springholm Nursery youngsters searching for signs of spring in the community

Youngsters at Springholm Nursery have been out and about looking for signs of spring in the community.

That included a trip to the plantation at Springholm Primary – their first visit since the pandemic began.

At Culshan Farm they met new born lambs and began planting beans and peas in the village planters.

Some children found a cosy bale of hay for a comfy read and sitting in the sun on a huge rock was great fun.

They also found frogspawn in the burn – fortunately nobody fell in this year – and they’re looking forward to watching it grow.
