Springholm Nursery pupils make unconventional art - using vegetables

Springholm Nursery took advantage of the glorious weather when they shopped at the community honesty barrow at Culshan for vegetables to use as an unconventional way to create art.

The children developed their leaf and number recognition skills while enjoying a scavenger hunt.

They built this knowledge further by examining their finds under the microscope, finding lots of creatures living on the leaves.
