Spring training: Dodgers 9, White Sox 6

March 27--AT THE PLATE -- Yasiel Puig homered for the second consecutive day, launching a second-inning offering from former Dodger Brad Penny over the wall in left-center field. The home run was the fifth of the spring for Puig, who is batting .263 and leads the Dodgers with 12 runs batted in. Jimmy Rollins also homered, hitting a two-run blast in the sixth inning. Rollins, who also doubled, drove in four runs. He is batting .333 this spring. The Dodgers' other home run came from utility man Enrique Hernandez. Andre Ethier maintained his solid form at the plate. He was one for three with a run batted in, two runs scored and a walk.

ON THE MOUND: Chris Hatcher pitched a scoreless inning, which lowered his spring earned-run average to 8.53. Joel Peralta and Pedro Baez had some rough moments in their appearances. Peralta was charged with two runs (one earned) and three hits in one inning. Baez failed to complete the eighth inning, as he gave up three runs (two earned), three hits and a walk in two-thirds of an inning.

SportsNetLA remains unavailable to about 70% of the Los Angeles market, but the first three innings of Scully's broadcast will be simulcast on AM 570.

UP NEXT: San Francisco at 7 p.m. at Camelback Ranch. On the air: TV: SportsNetLA; Radio: 570.
