March 09--AT THE PLATE -- With one out in the bottom of the ninth inning, top prospect Corey Seager doubled off the outstretched glove of Brewers center fielder Logan Schafer to drive in the winning run. An inning earlier, right fielder Kyle Jensen hit his second home run of the spring, a two-run blast to left field. Scott Van Slyke had a double.

ON THE MOUND: Sergio Santos pitched a scoreless inning in relief of starter Brandon McCarthy. Left-handers Adam Liberatore and Daniel Coulombe, and hard thrower Josh Ravin also tossed a scoreless inning each. Juan Nicasio pitched two innings and was charged with a run and two hits. Nicasio struck out three.
