Spring brights: hot homewares for 2012 - in pictures

You can't possibly not be cheered by this Marimekko chair, new in at Heals for spring 2012. Though your eyes may start to water at the price.

Don't forget your floor. This apple green vinyl flooring comes from a new company called The Coloured Flooring Company, which has filled a gap in the market - for bright, cheery, affordable lino without the usual nasty marble effects. Hurrah.

This is brand new to the V&A shop and is a reissue of Ernest Race's Antelope chair, which was originally commissioned for the 1951 Festival of Britain. Race chose yellow, one of the official Festival colours for the moulded plywood seat and we're choosing it now because yellow is HOT for 2012 (you heard it here third).
