With the heat in full force this summer, having a fan at home isn't a luxury – it's essential. And with the summer sales on, it's a great time to invest in one of the best fan deals on something high-tech that will last you for years.
That's where Dyson's famous tower fans come in. These efficient, powerful designs cool down large rooms while adding strong visual impact, and right now, the Dyson Cool Tower Fan is discounted to just $249.99.
As Homes & Gardens' Home Tech Editor, I've had hands-on experience with many Dyson fans, and they are, arguably, some of the best fans on the market. They usually cost upwards of $800, so to see the AM07 model on offer at this low price is rare. Grab it while it's hot (or you could say, cool).
Why I'm buying the discounted Dyson Cool Tower Fan AM07
Dyson invented the bladeless fan back in 2009, and since then, their sleek tower fans have continued to innovate the market with higher efficiency, whole-room coverage, and a stylish design that works as a statement piece in any space.
I tested the Dyson TP09 last year, and I can absolutely confirm how effective they are at cooling you down, even if you're sat at the opposite corner of a large living room.
The AM07 uses what Dyson calls 'AirMultiplier' technology, combining principles used in turbochargers and jet engines to amplify airflow up to 15 times. In real terms – the fan can project up to 132 gallons of air per second to cool you down in a heatwave.
If, like me, you take pride in your space, you'll appreciate that appliances can have just as much visual impact as your decor. That's why I'm buying this fan at a steal price.
The Dyson Cool Tower Fan is available for $249.99 at Dyson.

As Homes & Gardens' Home Tech Editor, I test, review and write about fans whenever the weather demands it. Here are some more of my favorites:
After testing six fans for Homes & Gardens, this is the one I use at home. It's powerful enough to fill large rooms (and outdoor areas, as it's cordless), plus it's quieter than any other fan I've used. You can attach it to a faucet to mist outdoor spaces, and you can remove the mount to turn it into a tabletop fan.

For something a little cheaper, this basic tower fan from Levoit has everything you need to cool down a room: Strong airflow across five fan speeds, a quiet sleep mode, and oscillation to cover a whole room.

Shark's bladeless tower fan does things differently to Dysons. You can rotate the arms and twist the vents to completely customize the airflow's direction, making it ideal for cooling multiple people at once. Plus, it looks great in any room.

The Coway Airmega Aim is a great choice if you want purified air, but focused in any direction, working similarly to a fan. It's a great way to cool you down with clean air.
