Spotify Wrapped 2023: What were the biggest streaming hits this year?

Spotify Wrapped is back with a bang this year, bringing its listeners a taste of their favourite music of 2023.

From the top artists to the most played tunes, Spotify Wrapped is billed as the perfect way for the platform's 574 million users to reflect on their year through music.

This year, Spotify bosses released the Wrapped feature on November 29, meaning music fans have over a month to enjoy their personalised 2023 playlist. Listeners can tune in through the Spotify app and online to unlock the new features.

Spotify Unwrapped 2023 is also going one step further, bringing Wrapped to life in London. On November 30, some of Spotify's biggest artists will play in a live show for their fans.

The performance will also be broadcast live on TikTok, so fans worldwide can tune into SpotifyUK to celebrate the year's most popular artists.

Who is playing at Wrapped Live in London?

Taking place from 8.30pm on November 30, Wrapped Live promises to celebrate some of the biggest music moments of 2023.

It will be broadcast live on TikTok and be hosted by Harriet Rose, Big Zuu, Max Balegde and shxtngigs. Click here to join the livestream.

Artists that fans can expect to see at the event include Sam Smith, Chase & Status, Charli XCX, Kenya Grace, Strandz, Raye and Libianca.

New Spotify Wrapped features for 2023

As well as plenty of music, Spotify is also unlocking many new features this year.

This includes a 'Me in 2023' character that is assigned to you based on the way you listen on Spotify. Moreover, the Sound Town feature matches you to a city based on your listening preferences.

Spotify's new AI DJ and Blend buttons will also help listeners make the most out of their Wrapped playlists.

Wrapped fan favorites are returning, including Top 5 Genres, Top 5 Artists, and personalised messages from some of your top artists.
