Spotify Wrapped 2022 unlocked - how to get your yearly music results

Yes the moment you've been waiting for is here - Spotify Wrapped is officially out.

If you don't know what everyone is talking about, then you may be unfamiliar with what happens at the end of each year when it comes to the music streaming service.

People who listen to music and podcasts on Spotify have their listening habits tracked for a year and at the end of November or start of December, in this case November 30, the streaming platform shows the user what they listened to the most this year.

And now that's it's out, avid music fans will be sharing their Spotify Wrapped 2022 results on Twitter and Instagram So, how do you access it and how can you share it to social media? Here's what you need to know...

Spotify Wrapped 2022 release date

Spotify Wrapped 2022 is now out having been released on November 30, 2022.

Spotify Wrapped 2022 - how to access

You can access your personal Spotify Wrapped here. Spotify is free for all users regardless of whether you are on the free version or paid subscription.

When do Spotify stop tracking listening habits?

Spotify previously confirmed on Twitter that the last two months of the year are not tracked for Wrapped saying: “We’re afraid that listening to a bunch of stuff right now will not make any difference to this year’s or next year’s Spotify Wrapped. This is because it only covers from January 1 to October 31. Hope this clears things up.”

Whilst they have not yet given a firm reason as to why this is, many think its due to the festive season with people starting to play Christmas music on repeat as soon as Halloween is over whilst others think it's just as simple as the company making sure they have enough time to prepare the app and your results in time for the end of the year.
