Spotify is DOWN: Music streaming service crashes for users across the UK

It's the go-to music streaming service for many people, but it seems that Spotify has crashed this afternoon.

According to DownDetector, the issues started at around 13.30 BST, and are affecting users across the UK and parts of Europe.

While the reason for the crash remains unclear, 53% of people who reported issues said they were with music streaming, 30% with the website, and 15% with Spotify on Sonos.

Spotify is yet to comment on the outage.

Several users have taken to Twitter to vent their frustrations.

One user wrote: "Reasons why I will never rely on streaming music: I was going to listen to all of the original King Crimson albums but Spotify is down."

Another added: "Spotify is down and I'm in crunch time. How can this happen?"
