Spotify went down for thousands of users across the country this evening, Downdetector reports.
Between 5.26pm and 5.41pm more than a thousand users reported outages.
At least 87 per cent of the outage was reported on the music streaming function of the app.
Only eight per cent reported issued with the website and five per cent said they had a problem with logging in.
After about an hour of reported outages, it appears the app is working again.
As of 7.35pm, less than 20 users reported outages.
Outages were reported across large swathes of the UK from Dundee to Belfast to London and Brighton.

On August 7, Downdetector also reported outages on the streaming service.
Many complained on the site that the app wasn't allowing users to play any songs.
Spotify is a Swedish audio streaming founded in 2006.
It is the world's largest music streaming service provider, with over 365 million monthly active users, including 165 million paying subscribers, as of June 2021.
